Board Member
Sevan Demirdogen started his career with Illinois Tool Works (ITW) at Devcon as the Eastern Canadian Sales Representative in 1982. He was promoted to Product Manager of Specialty Coatings and relocated in 1987 to Danvers, MA. In 1989, he was promoted to the position of Business Manager, Engineered Coatings, ultimately advancing to higher ranking positions in various divisions including General Manager, VPGM and lastly, he was promoted to the position of President of the ITW PSA&C group in August 2008. In April 2018, Sevan retired from ITW and joined Scapa Group plc a global manufacturer of industrial tapes and healthcare manufacturing solutions as President and Executive Vice President. He was elected to the Board as an Executive Director in January 2019. In December 2020, Sevan joined Kano Laboratories a manufacturer of industrial penetrating oils and lubricants as Interim CEO. In December 2022, he transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board for Kano Laboratories. During his career, Sevan has had full P&L, Sales, Marketing, Operational and HR responsibility in businesses located in North America, Europe and Asia. Sevan has been involved in various non-profit organizations including Danvers American Little League - Board Member (not active), Danvers Girls Softball - Board Member (not active), Danvers High School - Junior Achievement Consultant (not active), United Way - Company fundraising leader (not active) and Massachusetts Easter Seals - North Shore Telethon Chairman (not active). The Danvers Town Manager appointed Sevan to the Town of Danvers Recreation Committee Board in 2010 (active). Sevan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College of Quincy, MA where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Delta Lambda Honor Society.
